DAR VIENAS LAIŠKAS IŠ GAMTOS / ANOTHER LETTER FROM NATURE

Daugiau
labai daug!

After more than half a year of correspondence with the
nature, the school’s journalists, with the help of sponsors, published
professional calendars at S. Jokužio press and decided to give them to the
municipality employees of Klaipeda, because they have the biggest possibilities
to urge the society to take part in the children’s request, to take care of the
nature and their hometown Klaipeda, which will celebrate 760th anniversary in
the summer. On the 12th of December pupils visited the mayor of
Klaipeda Vytautas Grubliauskas and were the first to congratulate the city of
Klaipeda on the upcoming anniversary by presenting their calendars. The
journalist Rokas Koveckis asked the mayor, if he knew why do gooses, in a picture
made by him in spring, flew in a formation of a letter L, although, we are all
used to see them flying in a formation of a letter V. The head of the city
tried to explain him that birds were changing their leader so the formation
fell apart, but Rokas explained that the birds were coming back to their home
land Lithuania which name starts with the letter L. After such an explanation,
the mayor acknowledged the fact that he is unable to spot letters in nature,
therefore, the pupils‘work and the gift to the city moved him quite a lot.
Vytautas Grubliauskas wishes that the people, of the super city which he leads,
would continue to surprise with their creative, meaningful ideas and works.
Because people, who are able to cipher letters from nature, can accomplish so
much!
